The “Pissing girl” fountain is interesting not only by its witty solution of age-long «mother-and-child» theme but also from the engineering and technical piont of view, because the object is both a sculpture and a water conduct: the main water motion takes place within the sculpture. The pipe extends throughout the whole mother's body – the water rises up along the leg, runs through the corpus and goes down the hand, flowing out through the body of the peeing child. There occurs a magic trick effect, as an eye can't see where the water comes from. The water circulation system is autonomous: there's a motor in the eservoir inside the base that circulates the water. A fountain is a pure joy for people, an opportunity for recreation, interactivity with an art form. The form not only pleases the eyes of the viewer with its beauty, but also evokes joyful emotions because of ironic images, because of the unexpected posture of the figures, and invites the viewer to interactivity.
