Platinum Pollen (Small) Sculpture

My sculptures date from 2014-2015, and have been in storage for the past few years. I now have the time and opportunity to recondition, photograph and publish them. All photos are taken in May 2023. Using science and nature as my inspirations I created the series 'Metal Morphs' where metal parts get different usage (like Lego blocks), and where metal hardware combined transforms into flora, fauna and sci-fi like tech items. The ball is very tactile, surprisingly heavy and fun to fidget with. Or juggle, if you got the muscles. It is perfectly spherical, has a cool surface, and has a lot of momentum once it is rolling. This art is a game and a toy as well as eye candy. It is made of coated iron screws (straight out of the box of the builders market), fitted into a painted PVC carrier sphere.
