Everything in the universe exists by keeping certain equilibrium towards each other to sustain in our world. This mutual agreement of balancing is quintessential for the co-existence and well being of everyone in a system, be it social or environmental. As dominant species of planet earth, human beings hamper the balance of the eco-system by intruding into the space of the other species and discarding them, by exploiting and looting the nature’s resources, by mass production of industrial materials. The awful truth is the uncontrolled reproduction of human beings has been become a threat to the ecosystem that brought up terrible conflicts in environment. From childhood I have been witnessing the issues of the population growth in my village. Because of the density of the people, serious issues are happening there- many resources like water, food, housing, sanitary, etc are not enough to share among mass. Deforestation has become huge in order to build up new concrete buildings. I am very conscious about these issues which are not good for the existence of the world. My works carry these ideas to invoke public conscious that may open the doors of serious discussions. My works are the outcome of the conflicts and stress which I have experienced directly and indirectly from the society itself. The chosen forms and spaces in my works are dramatically composed enough to generate certain metaphoric language for communicating with the spectators from different angles. The viewers can sense the looming tension and dynamism from the frozen forms and spaces as they walk around. Though my works- the fusion of conventional and contemporary styles are inspired by the socio-economic-political tensions of my society. Because of the human population explosion, the space allocation, sharing of natural resources, education and jobs have been become troublesome. I have been experiencing these issues from childhood in my village where each family struggles to meet the basic needs of members with meager income. This public concion has not developed yet which could make us attentive to these serious issues. People cut down trees and occupy forest areas to find more space as they spread over the land. It is another way of destroying and stealing the spaces of other species.
