About The Artwork
When the protective hunting ban was lifted & hibernating bears were allowed to be preyed upon by humans... I was outraged & horrified. This inspired me to create “Prayer Bear” as a cry for help & a way to bring awareness to the issue. As weeks went by of sculpting each strand of fur, I came to realize, these beautiful, powerful, intuitive animals were praying for our human race in hopes of not only destroying them but, us as a whole. Prayer bear is lightly antiqued Rose Gold plated bronze with high polish rose gold bronze beads.
