Quadrent 1 Landscape Sculpture

Hi I'm Simon Wilson, designer and artist behind the scenes at SiFabricate. I make geometric artwork using shoelaces and eyelets. My work begins in my sketchbook, where I explore ideas drawn from a wide range of influences, including nature, architecture, science, and technology. I am guided intuitively, following what feels visually compelling and conceptually right. From these explorations, I select the most successful iterations and develop them further using CAD software, allowing me to refine proportions and precisely resolve each element. Once the design is fully realised, I move into the production phase, where the work takes its final form.
