ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This sculpture is made of Austrian marble which comes from the south of Austria. We lived for 2 years in Tuscany then in Haute Provence, Bretagne, Herault, Centre/France, Aveyron and now in the departement of Creuse ." Working together with my wife Marie-Pierre , I am a sculptor with 4 eyes" Working mainly with wood we are interested in the human figure, concentrate on heads and bust in simple shapes and minimal expression. Poetry of daily live...Simplicity...The confidence which can be found in Silence... As Richard Powers stated: " Shared bewilderment is the nearest thing we have to a common language "
