Rule of Three Sculpture

Rule of Three emulates a search for perfect lines and bends in an upscaled form. The paper clip symbolises a pillar of connection and engagement with the Australian landscape surrounding it. Madi’s interest in earth, country and its material resources speak to the alchemy of processes, both heavily symbolising her interest in the transformational properties of heat, industrial intervention, labour and force. The search for outcome through materials is a mirror for the search for self in a location that the artist seeks.
