About The Artwork

Cherry here is a symbolic metaphor of harvest we all pray for no matter if it's real or virtual, of it's real cash or currency (which is also. not that "real" providing with the fact we have something like a score on our bank account). Or it's bitcoin, ethereum etc. We still do pray "the heaven" of the harvest. And its a representation of our dreams, desires, efforts sometimes strives growing into fruits - results, the implementation of our wishes, fruits of life. Blockchain is an allegory that everything is basically a code and my reflections of digital "incarnated" into physical and vice versa. The code is a hexadecimal encrypted Latin proverb "Scientia potentia est". Knowledge is power. I do like exploring global and fundamental concepts of existence and their manifestation in our present being. I am inspired by philosophy, metaphysics, human history and culture. I'm also interested in our new way of reality such as the new digital reality and it's relation and interaction with our physical reality. The virtual reality is becoming more and more real and there is a parallel with Eastern philosophies' consept of Maya, the illusion of this world. I am fascinated with the idea of subconscious effect of the art and I like exploring the ways of the impact. As of now I tend to minimalistic forms of expression, reducing the artworks to basic shapes and colors. I am inspired by really different forms of art and culture of various styles and times. But as of now one of my major sources of inspiration is abstract art of the beginning of the 20th century - Kandinsky, Hilma af Klint, Malevich, Piet Mondriaan, Paul Klee, Franz Marc. And abstract expressionism artists - Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman, Cy Twombly, Lee Krasner.
