Sea Horse Sculpture

Jozef Bloks lives in the historic village of Altea in Spain in the 'Calle Pescadores' where the fishermen used to live. Reason enough to make in 2021 a series of special wooden fish. These works of art are made up of multiple layers of (MDF) wood, which creates dimension. They are painted with acrylic paint with a layer of varnish on top. You can also hang them outside. They are signed and numbered on the back and have a hanging hook. Artworks by Jozef Bloks (4 collages) are included in the collection of the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands. This is a part of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. These works of art are in the possession of the Municipal Museum Amsterdam where they are exhibited during educational exhibitions. He was born in 1951 in Eindhoven (Netherlands). He studied at the Royal Academy of Art and Design in 's Hertogenbosch in Holland. Exhibitions of paintings, drawings and objects in numerous galleries, companies and government institutions all over the world. New exhibitions are coming up. Project art, objects, performances, installations, writing books, video's and music. Jozef Bloks does not limit himself only to the two-dimensional plane.
