ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Segmented" is a wall sculpture from my latest body of work. I developed this style in response to the lifestyle that Americans live in today. The chaos has become a way of life. The human brain is on a non stop track of gathering and receiving information. We are getting further and further away from our current moment. Life is a blur. The multiple layers upon layers and obsessive stitching illustrate our need to consume without thinking. The classic frame gives a nod to a simpler time. The piece is ready to hang.
