About The Artwork
Inspired and created to posthumously cellerbrate the 600 year anniversary of Owain Glyndwr Prince of Wales, who was seen as the 'Son of Prophecy' (Mab Darogan) destined to lead the welsh people out of bondage. Although there are no portrait references of Owain Glyndwr, from the time, I have incorporated many frames of reference within the sculpture - Pennal letter, birth mark, religious reference, Harlech castle etc. Limited edition of 6 pieces made to order with a lead time of 8 weeks, patination will be original and may have some variation. Sculpture will come with granite plinth (not shown)
