Steampunk Spider Sculpture

My name is Peter Szucsy. Artist, and father... For the past 25 years, I have worked as an art director/lead artist in the game development industry. I have made many creatures, monsters in the virtual world...but a few years ago I felt it is about time to create something different. So I left my computer, and made lots of my ideas come alive in the real word. - spider itself: 20 * 26 * 6 cm - mainly made of antique pocket watch parts - antique frame with some modification. Beautiful aging patina My favourite details: - I love the eyes, they are made of watch crown - this is quite rare engraved watch movement. Individually manufactured - I use rare expensive pocket watch parts, but I never use watch with high museal value. - just hang it on the wall and be scared.......
