THREE DIMENSIONAL (DO NOT TOUCH) Sculpture

GRYPH is a conceptual artist from New Zealand who specialises in 3D-printed art. Currently completing a Contemporary Art Degree, he uses his art to challenge societal norms around worth and validity. GRYPH’s signature motif is the stretched face, which he developed in his work 25 Self-Portraits (2022). He finds it to be a metaphor for the complex emotions and struggles that we face as humans, and especially as artists. His work often features classical sculpture in his own unique style, blending the traditional with modern technology to create pieces that are both timeless and contemporary.
