Chrisothemis Perdikea Kirimi, known as Themis, is a modern scuptor whose work is distinguished mainly for its poignant messages, symbolism and vitality. Although she mainly creates realistic works of art, she occasionally combines fantasy with more abstract forms. She is primarily inspired by world mythology, and more specifically the Greek. Her works also include influences by the metaphysical, parapsychology, surrealism, fashion, the Bible, animals, the Middle Ages, ancient civilizations, fairy tales, nature, and modern society. She endeavors to get her message across with either artful mystery or in an overt, captivating and elegant manner. Themis collaborates with the best foundries in her desire to create original pieces in Limited edition collections of 12 pieces each, mainly crafted from bronze and an array of coatings, but also resin. Her pieces are all sealed and certified both by herself and the cooperating foundries, guaranteeing 12 pieces of the original, 8 which are numbered, and 4 in Roman numerals.
