Magdalena Solich (1989) Graduate of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She graduated in Easel Painting in the year 2015, under the tutorship of prof. Lech Wolski, as well as in Wall Painting, in 2016, under the tutorship of prof. Krzysztof Pituła. In 2016, the artist was awarded honourable mention at the DYPLOMY 2015 exhibition at the Centre Of Contemporary Art in Toruń, as well as the award from the Association of the friends of the Faculty of Fine Arts, for the picture cycle “Affirmation of Life and Nature”. One of the paintings from the cycle reached the finale of the National Leon Wyczółkowski Painting Competition. The artist has collective and solo exhibitions to her credit, in Poland and abroad alike. She has been collaborating with Polish auction houses since 2015, and since the year 2016, she belongs to the Association of Polish Artists and Designers in Bielsko-Biała. In 2020, she received an honorable mention for the post-competition exhibition Light Sensitivity at the ZPAP Gallery in Toruń and a year later she received the City of Toruń Scholarship in Culture for 2021 and a year later she received the City of Toruń Scholarship in Culture for 2021.
