About The Artwork
The VAJRA Sculpture Collection. Created 2020-2022. Inspired by The Future and rooted in The Present, Wood and Fire Elements provide Aspiration and The Vision of Abundance. A giant Texas Pecan tree has been given the Ancient Japanese technique of Yakisugi -- or Shou-sugi-ban, the repeated, deep charring of Wood with Fire. Layers of wood are removed to reveal what was always present. VAJRA are available in a limited edition of three. Ideal for table-top display. Salvaged pecan sealed with Tried and True non-toxic Beeswax Finish.
