In essence, they are actually a derivation of the same controversy, namely the one between the finite and infinite. Nothing in our lives is infinite: lifespan, love, resources… yet the artists are invariably in the pursuit of the infinity, lingering on the boundary between the finite world and the infinite one to discover the nature of the world by perpetually gaming with the existing principles. Zhuangtzi has told us through his tenets that both life and knowledge are limited. If the finite nature of humans is applied into the quest for the infinite, then one will be endangered. However what Piao Jiyou means to say is that he is actually irremediably on the way of such risky things.e
