ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece has been made during a artist meeting and work period in China, in the traditional ceramic's town Dehua, near Xiamen. In Asian culture, nature is often a source of inspiration and I took inspiration from the old master Hokusai. I started working a series called 10.000 waves. Although I have made quite some waves there are more to come! I love working in ceramics. The possibilities are unlimited. I hope you are inspired by this piece as well.
