About The Artwork
You see a mural ceramic, a 2 dimensional ceramic that hangs on a wall. The ceramic is about 4 mm thick. It is mounted on a 3-d printed transparent hangingsystem that provides the 10 cm distance to the wall that is needed. So the light can fall through and the coulors shine. The ceramic is brought onto a metal grid. The clay receiving its red/orange colous from iron sulfate during/after the raku firing. The coloured "glas" is inserted later.
