Whole Sculpture

Developing this collection has felt even more connected to who I am and the design styles that I admire than much of my past work. Minimal and weird. Imperfect, but clean. Each piece is made using wood scraps from past projects and the armatures of the white sculptures are always constructed from recycled cardboard, plastic packaging, tin foil, etc. Finding a balance between minimalism and warmth can be a challenge and these pieces are intended to do just that. All of my work is intuitively created but deeply rooted in and inspired by environmental issues and the impacts of mass consumption. Because of this, it is hugely satisfying any time I am able to find inspiration in creating work that uses primarily recycled materials.
