Wooden sculpture in cherry-tree on metal ground. Important: My sculptures are for inside placement only! There is no translation for this title it would be somewhat like 'power of creation'. I made this sculpture in 2007, now I took it again in the atelier, because there were cracks, and at that time I didn't have the technique to fill them with epoxy.. This Phallic Form is in greatest tension, just before explosion. If you feel attentively into this moment, you find yourself in the innermost fire of life-energy.. Hans-Jürgen Gorenflo wurde 1958 geboren in Stutensee bei Karlsruhe. Abitur. Reisen. Studium der Mathematik in Montpellier/Südfrankreich, Studium Generale in Karlsruhe, Besetzerszene im Berlin der 80er Jahre, dazwischen immer wieder Rucksackreisen, die ihn über die halbe Erde führen. Autodidaktische Studien und Meditationen in jahrelanger Zurückgezogenheit. Im Zentrum stehen Sinnfragen und die Erforschung des Denkens. Entdeckung der Sprache als Urkünstlerin. Seit 1996 lebt er wieder an seinem Geburtsort als freiberuflicher Künstler. Anfang 2006 erscheint sein erster Gedichtband (Zwiegespräch im Ich), gleichzeitig erste Ausstellungen seiner Holzskulpturen und Bilder.
