Kela explains, “A constant aspect of my creative process is exploring new possibilities and pushing boundaries. My works are intuitive manifestations of the subconscious and are testament of my creative journey, who I am as a human being and artist and how I view the world around me; with the ultimate goal to inspire and provoke the imagination!”

Consistent characteristics of her paintings are her love for rich texture and how she mixes color to achieve a wide range of minuscule tonal differences, tints and shades.

Bold color contrasts with a tendency toward darker themes are more apparent in her digital work, influenced by art movements including Abstract, Surrealism and Contemporary.

She now lives and works in Memphis, TN
