Marisa Guzman-Aloia

Born and raised in Southern California, Marisa has always had a love for photography. Some of her earliest childhood memories involved having a camera in her hand. A graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Marisa’s work stems from a place of nostalgia. She draws inspiration from the simpler days of her youth, reimagining and elevating the stories once told through the lens of her childhood camera.

Marisa has a wanderlust. Her life as a photographer has led her on breathtaking adventures. Documenting new places, cultures and experiences feed her soul. But, it doesn't matter where in the world Marisa is, she will always be a California girl at heart.

The world is a wonderfully big and diverse place. Marisa is aiming to photograph as much of it as she can.
