Murvellous Murphy

Murvellous is a contemporary British artist based in London whose work is inspired by fashion, film, music and pop culture. Born in East London, creativity became both an escape and a form of expression from an early age.

Before returning to art, Murvellous worked professionally in dance and modelling, travelling internationally and collaborating with luxury brands including Cartier, Tom Ford and Prada. These experiences helped shape his appreciation for style, storytelling and visual culture.

His artwork combines bold colour, nostalgia and contemporary influences, reimagining iconic characters, fashion references and cultural moments through a distinctive pop art lens. Working primarily with acrylic, mixed media and spray paint, each piece is created as a one-of-one original designed to evoke personality, energy and conversation.

Works by Murvellous are held in private collections across the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.
