Born: Rochester, New York
My works are fairy tales for the 21st century. They offer a commentary on what I call the fictional narrative society has chosen to construct and believe; while at the same time calling attention to the truths we all avoid acknowledging. What appears to be a benign fairy tale image is juxtaposed with pencil image representing a contrasting truth. The two are tied together by a black and white cartoon narrative, which acts as a Greek chorus and completes the vision of what we choose not to see in a world where truth is at a premium. I also create, in color and black and white, stand-alone drawings, which are self-contained narratives.
Inspirations: Everything I see, read and hear.
