A graduate of Ireland’s National College of Art and Design, de Buitléar’s work is inspired by her vibrant surroundings, from majestic urban structures to nature's understated beauty.
Now based on Long Island, NY, she finds a stunning resource of lakes and coastline as her inspiration.
With the poetry & imagery of her Irish heritage always present, Gráinne seeks to evoke the atmosphere and energy of the moment through use of texture & mark-making with pastel and paint.
She is also a professional actor.
BA in Visual Communication;
