Bathmawathy is an award-winning, self-taught wildlife artist based in Coimbatore, India. With over 50 international awards and numerous global publications, she has rapidly emerged as a powerful voice in the contemporary art world. Discovering her passion during the COVID-19 pandemic, Bathmawathy specializes in a diverse range of media, including oil, acrylic, resin, pastels, charcoal, and gold leaf.
Her work is defined by a deep respect for nature and an urgent call for conservation. By focusing on the expressive power of a creature's eyes, she seeks to bridge the gap between humans and the natural world. A member of the Association of Animal Artists (UK), she has been recognized as an Emerging Artist of the Year (2025) and featured among the Top 100 Artists Worldwide by Hashtag Kalakar and the Top 50 Renowned Artists by Magzoid Magazine, Dubai.
