Bathmawathy is a multiple award-winning self-taught wildlife artist based in Coimbatore, India. During the COVID-19 outbreak, she discovered her passion for art and now works across oil paint, acrylic, resin, pastels, charcoal, and gold leaf. Her emotionally expressive portraits focus on capturing the soul of each creature through their eyes and aim to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and habitat protection.
A member of the Association of Animal Artists, UK, Bathmawathy has received over 31 international art awards, including prestigious recognitions from the American Art Awards, Art Collector’s Choice Awards, and a feature in the Top 50 Renowned Artists by Magzoid Art Magazine, Dubai. Her earthy, detailed works reflect her deep reverence for nature and her advocacy for animals endangered by human interference and exploitation.
Her art has been exhibited internationally and featured in multiple magazines, books, and articles. She uses her creative platform to spark empathy and inspire global efforts to protect our fragile ecosystems and endangered species.
