Moved by the discipline and poetry of working with clay, Gauthier explores ceramics as a space for imagination and freedom. His work exists somewhere between architecture and dream: from clay, he creates unusual, improbable, almost impossible constructions that seem to challenge the laws of gravity as much as those of reality.

Inspired by organic forms, fragmented mechanisms, and inner landscapes, Gauthier creates dreamlike volumes that can evoke fragile shelters, leaning towers, or hybrid structuresn either entirely figurative nor abstract. His works suggest rather than declare.
He plays with textures, precarious balances, and openings towards the invisible. Each piece becomes a fragment of imagined architecture, a small part of his world somewhere we might almost step inside and lose ourselves.

His works invite us to slow down and look differently, to reconsider our ideas of shelter, balance, and solidity. They remind us that clay holds a unique power: the ability to bring forth the strange, the poetic, and the wonderful.
