EXHIBITIONS
Michele Thompson is a contemporary American artist utilizing a limited palette to convey the energy and vibrancy of the natural world while exploring elements of human nature. Her work challenges and expands upon the foundations of Landscape, Vignette, and Vanitas traditions.
Limited palette:
Titanium White, Ivory Black, Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Red or Alizarin Crimson, and Ultramarine Blue
Aside from painting scenes from nature, her ultimate goal is to appreciate simplicity through experimentation with materials and technique, and to thoughtfully stimulate the mind.
