Muneera Naji

Iam a self-taught artist born at 1975 in Sharjah,
I loved art as a child but hadn’t taken it any further than school.
I worked as a graphic designer for many years,
besides that, Ive been working as a freelance makeup artist,
over the past years of intensive, daily painting with watercolor,
I have been able to watch my skills improve dramatically.

Watercolor, Mixed media recycled art and craft has become an important venue for my creative expression.
Watercolor has become my favorite medium since discovering its spontaneous nature and versatility
and created with special consideration to detail.

Working as an art teacher at Al Marsam Al Hor at Cultural Foundation Abu Dhabi makes good use of my knowledge and abilities by teaching and practicing fine arts,
My art classes contain an element of self-development as well as learning art techniques.
I believes that the act of creating art can be a gateway to healing and personal growth.
