Mugdha Kakade

Mugdha Kakade is a self-taught artist from Pune, Maharashtra, India. Art has been her passion since childhood. She worked as a Software Professional for a decade. A sabbatical taken from work lead to an opportunity to turn this lifelong friend into a full-time occupation.
In July 2017, Mugdha took baby steps towards her dream, with her Facebook Page “ArtIsWhereHeartIs”. Painted and shared little pieces. Explored various media. Tried many styles. It was however the lockdown in 2020 that saw her churn out painting after painting.
Mugdha believes Art is Divine and has experienced its soothing and calming effects akin to meditation.
