Hi, I’m Joseph Abalos.


My work is inspired by the beauty of light when embraced by darkness. I aim to highlight the importance of light within the shadows, while also revealing the quiet beauty and charm that darkness holds. To me, darkness is not something to avoid, but a necessary presence that allows light to exist and be truly appreciated.


Most of my pieces are rooted in figurative art and revolve around this interplay—exploring contrast, emotion, and balance through chiaroscuro.


I offer original works for sale and also take on commissioned pieces.

I trained under Daron Mastropiero, an Argentinian artist specializing in realism.
