My art practice is situated in a culture of walking engaging with the nature & substance of landscape drawing on and drawing with the environment in which I step.
I'm particularly drawn to 'edgeland' spaces, ones that mediate the transition from urban to rural landscapes; their ephemeral & transient qualities.
The work has concerns that touch upon the fleeting nature of the sublime, and how stepping out can be the salve that reconnects us to the wonder of the world.
