Hazel Marshall is a Trinidadian artist whose work captures the light, rhythm, and soulful spirit of the Caribbean. Inspired by the great Impressionists yet guided by her own intuitive vision, she paints with expressive brushwork, luminous color, and richly textured layers that seem to glow from within.
Her subjects—landscapes, seascapes, gingerbread architecture, and Caribbean women—are not merely observed but deeply felt, often infused with a quiet sense of movement, memory, and inner light. Subtle elements of atmosphere and radiance appear throughout her work, creating moments that feel both intimate and timeless.
Each painting becomes a dialogue between color and emotion—an invitation for the viewer to step beyond the visible and into a more reflective, sensory experience.
Hazel’s work has been exhibited locally and internationally and is held in private collections. She is a member of the Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago and continues to explore her practice with a deep passion for beauty, expression, and the spiritual resonance of art.
