Bry Cruz is a Mexican American artist based in Los Angeles. He specializes in acrylic, and watercolor. His paintings are focused on a variety of subject matter, such as mental health, and LGBTQ+ identity. Bry is a self- taught artist whose work is a blend of Cubism and Expressionism.
In recent years, Bry has shifted into single-line abstract art to help with the grieving process, and depression after the loss of his mother. His recent works reflect the vulnerable and painful subject matter while still applying the use of vibrant colors to draw his audience in. His influences include Basquiat, Pollock, Haring and Picasso.
