Anna Sea

My painting and drawing practice is rooted in working from life, honouring academic traditions, and paying careful attention to the observable world. I believe that the idea of observation and careful looking is both a technical and spiritual act that speaks to the meaning of being human. My work translates my lived experience of the experiental world into material form. For me, beautiful art is not just decorative — it is a balancing, archetypal force in a world that is constantly shifting.
My practice is about sensing how those forces reveal themselves in a contemporary context, translating the outer world through personal perception and materialising it through embodied practice to create work of enchantment.
