Assaf Iglesias

Born in Oviedo in 1972. A charming gentleman from the north of Spain.

The work of assaf iglesias, is one of sheer originality. what makes it so is first of all its very personal figurative iconography in which fantasy and reality are intertwined, and also the peculiar treatement the images receive. Rich in details and precise in its execution, these pieces lean towards a lucid self-consciousness with Eastern elements (at times nearly zen-like) whose signification takes us into the personal, and enigmatic unverse of the
artist, a universe whose boundaries go far beyond the
ambit of graphic illustration.

Graduated in interior design, IADE, Gijon.
