Olli Fraenkel

asie.one's inspiration comes from the environment that surrounds him. At an early age, hisfascination of graffiti-styled artwork began with building walls, concrete pavements, andautomobiles and trains - virtually everything that people wanted to turn from dull gray to avibrant expression of their space.
A graduate of McVision school in graphic design, Olli specialized in desktop publishing works andcorporate identity design. But a nomadic lifestyle combined with his love for surfing took him awayfrom his home country of Germany to adventures across the world. He continued to draw upon the inspiration from the people he met and the places he went during his travels.
Then several years ago, he stumbled upon Indonesia during his travels. The vast cultural similarities and divides between the islands of the country truly inspired him to venture deeper into his love of the world of art, and to share his style of artwork with communities.

All throughout Seminyak, Bali, instances of Olli Fraenkel's work can be seen on clothing, paintings, prints, and other mediums. And in 2011, he will take the artwork from the streets into a dedicated gallery.
