Before dedicating herself fully to art, Lumae worked in fashion design, an early discipline that sharpened her eye for structure, drape, proportion, and the emotional weight of detail. Self-directed artistic formation through global cultural immersion, fashion industry craftsmanship, studying drape, proportion, and surface refinement at a professional level. Independent study of classical sculpture, material culture, and symbolic systems. Years spent traveling across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania — visiting archaeological sites, museums, and historical collections — continue to inform Lumae’s visual language and research-driven practice.
