Hello

I am Avtandil Nikabadze, a painter from Georgia - Caucasian Region. I live in Tbilisi - the capital of Georgia. I have joined in saacthiart since 2021. I like realistic style. The themes of the paintings are mostly Georgian - local ethnographic items, landscapes and situations. I was attracted to painting from my childhood, but my parents were against to follow this profession. After meeting the painter Avtandil Varazi I entered the Academy of arts, painting faculty. Avtandil varazi, Corneli Sanadze, Edmund Kalandadze were teachers of me.

Painting was always hobby. I used to paint for my own pleasure. Though I have participated in many exhibitions, including Berlin. In 2001 because of financial troubles I had to paint in order to earn money.

We have a beautiful little garden in Tbilisi, where the painters sell their works. 95% of the clients are tourists. It's already 20 years I have been the member of the garden society.

90% of my paintings have been bought by tourists. Then Some of them used to give me orders from their countries too. My nephew ( Giorgi/George) and my niece ( khatia) have always told me to try selling on the international site too, but I always said - No, because the paintings were sold ...

In 1966 I terminated the biological faculty of the Tbilisi State University. In the same year I terminated the art criticism faculty of the Tbilisi State University. Until 1981 I was devoting to the scientific work. After meeting the painter Avtandil Varazi I entered (1981) the Academy of arts, painting faculty, which I terminated in 1986.

In 1990 I had personal exhibition in Berlin.

I participated in the group, city, republic, subject exhibitions in Georgia.

The portrait of Avtandil Varazi, which I painted, was bought by Art Museum of Georgia
