My name is Aleksandra Zielińska-Misiun, and I am a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts named after Władysław Strzemiński in Łódź, in the Department of Textile and Clothing, majoring in fashion design. I graduated with a very good result in 2005.
I create abstract and expressive works under the influence of impulse, the need of the moment, and my state of mind. The visions that appear in my mind's eye during a flood of thoughts triggers an irresistible urge to pour them onto canvas. I use various tools, such as rulers, to spread thickly applied oil paint. My paintings are characterized by a pronounced structure. When properly lit, they achieve the effect of light and shadow play. My paintings take the viewer on a journey into the world of imagination.
I have been painting since 2015. I skill fully divide my time between work with my husband, children, and home, and my passion for painting. Through it, I am able to express myself.
I have presented my works to a wider audience at the Factory of Art in Łódź, at an exhibition accompanying the event called "Week of Cultural Responsibility of Business" ().
