Babs Gorniak

Hi, I'm Babs — an award-winning photographer based in London. I am drawn to colours, shapes, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments. My journey began in my teenage years, photographing family, friends, and the world around me. What started as curiosity has grown into a passion for creating vibrant, playful imagery that celebrates detail and emotion.

Today, my work focuses on colourful portraits - often of food - where I explore the harmony between texture, shape, and colour. I enjoy transforming simple subjects into expressive compositions that blur the line between realism and abstraction.

I also experiment with different photographic styles and digital techniques, allowing my work to evolve and take on new visual languages. Through my images, I aim to evoke joy, curiosity, and a sense of wonder - transforming the ordinary into something visually and emotionally alive.
