I was born in Rajasthan, a land where art, history, and storytelling are deeply woven into everyday life. From a very early age, I found myself drawn to the intricate beauty of traditional Jaipur miniature paintings. The delicate lines, vibrant natural colors, and the patience required to create such detailed works fascinated me. What began as childhood curiosity slowly became my life’s calling.

For more than 45 years, I have dedicated myself to the practice and preservation of the Jaipur school of miniature painting. This art form is one of India’s most refined and intricate traditions, requiring extraordinary patience and discipline. Using extremely fine brushes and traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations, each painting is created slowly and carefully, often taking weeks or months to complete. For me, every brushstroke carries the responsibility of honoring a centuries-old heritage.

My work is inspired by the rich cultural and spiritual traditions of India—royal court scenes, mythology, nature, and moments of quiet beauty. Through these themes, I try to capture not only visual elegance but also a deeper sense of harmony and storytelling that is central to miniature painting.

My education has continued beyond classrooms and studios. Every painting I create becomes part of an ongoing learning journey—exploring new details, preserving traditional techniques, and constantly striving to perfect the delicate balance of patience, precision, and storytelling that defines miniature art.

Today, the knowledge and skills I gained through my early education remain the backbone of my artistic practice, guiding me as I continue to preserve and share the timeless heritage of Jaipur miniature painting with audiences around the world.

Over the past four decades, my miniature paintings have been showcased in numerous exhibitions, cultural fairs, and international art events across the world. Through these exhibitions, I have had the opportunity to present the traditional Jaipur school of miniature painting to global audiences and collectors.
