Born in Baden, Switzerland, now living in Brittany.
I imagine a world in which we find ourselves at peace with one another and where change is always welcome. I live and work in a very small space, hence storage of paintings on stretchers is not possible. Once a painting is dried, it is rolled and stored in a tube, and will be safely sent out to a buyer who will probably take it along to a professional framer. There is a saving on the cost of transporting the item, as a tube is much less expensive than a protective crate....the difference would probably cover the cost of the professional framing carried out locally.
