Born and grown up in China and immigrated to Canada in 2005. During visits in New York, Philadelphia area, San Francisco area USA between 2006 and 2007 for art shows, visiting art museums, I learned a lot from the original master paintings in the museums.
I studied Chinese Calligraphy and Chinese Traditional Ink painting since 13 years old and focused on studying Chinese Traditional Ink painting in the university. In 1998, I started to study western art history. I was influenced by Bonnard, Matisse, Gauguin, Oskar Kokoschka, Picasso, Andy Warhol, De Kooning.
