Born in Tunisia in 1953, Gerard Bellaiche has lived most of his life in France. At present he is based both in Paris and Uzes.Gerard has been fully involved in the world of sculpture for the last 35 years;as well as producing and exhibiting he also organizes courses for fellow artists, school children and other groups interested in his techniques. His passion is to give life to substance and become a messenger of imagination. Diverse works of art created from surprising materials; fruit of the hands, but even more so of the heart. From fantasy to truth, from dreams to reality, transcribed through wood, metal and stone, his sculptures are created in keeping with their natural environment. From his creativity, energy, sensitivity, springs a mixture of cultures and spontaneity to awaken the senses.Ethnic Arts liberty of expression brings him ever closer to man's purest emotions.
