Bernardo Pitanguy is a contemporary Brazilian artist who revealed a unique and sensitive view of the world from an early age. He studied at the prestigious Institut Le Rosey in Switzerland, where he began to shape his own visual language grounded in gesture, color, and symbolism.
His painting is a sensitive terrain where the silence of form speaks louder than words. Bernardo does not paint what he sees, he paints what resonates. Each of his canvases pulses like an expanding body, a field of energy where color is not decoration, but essence. There is a primordial gesture in his brushstroke, not governed by logic, but by the urgent need to express the unspeakable. Observing his work is a journey through layers, from the visible to the symbolic, from the material to the spiritual. There is rhythm, movement, a kind of dance between the mysteries of the universe and the silent harmony of the soul. Lines, shapes, and colors do not occupy space, they create it. An intimate, inward space in which the viewer finds a part of themselves.
Bernardo’s art does not need to be explained to be true. It simply is.
