Lyrical abstraction art is a story, it’s the art I make, an externalization of released emotions, worries and expectations. It is my story.

I have been creating art for over sixty years. My work has been exhibited in group and solo situations. I have participated in gallery talks on many occasions, most recently at the Cape Cod Museum of Art. My newest body of work uses pastels and charcoal for color and brush applied satin acrylic glazing liquid in an over-painted application. Layered on and complementary to this atmosphere of color I tell a story of the work in images of line and shape with matte black acrylic paint. The energy of the line is always present in my work. Whether it be linear or edge.

These marks on a surface I’ve seen as waves of energy, DNA strands, vibrations of quantum strings of "Possibilities". Edges, shapes, dimensions and depth; defining ideas, portraits and scenes, of the imagined and real, accidental and intentional. I believe it is within these "Possibilities" where it all starts. Where art is waiting to be made and discovered. "Possibilities" for both this artist and the observers.

This has also been a journey through various mediums. In enamel paint, oil paint, ceramic glazes, yarns, colored pencils...
