I Paint therefore I am!

Painting fills me with an excitement like no other and conjures up images and color splashes in my mind. Then my brush takes on a life of its own, and ‘voila’! a new painting is born

When I paint, I feel that life is harmonious with the beauty of nature. Nature is beautiful, willful, unpredictable, and yet inspiring – just like life. Humans and nature are intertwined entities; one is a part of the other.

My painting reflects my ‘mood of the day’ suffused with colour or shades of grey! I paint what I see with my mind’ eye and am always surprised by the end result!

Painting is joy, pleasure and pain to me. Translating the thought into form is a hard task! Painting is poetry, be it vivid or bleak! When my paintings find it hard to speak my poetry helps them along! So the hidden and unspoken get a voice. They merge into one reality, inseparable like the soul and the flesh.
