Sebastian Bieniek

Sebastian Bieniek is a Berlin-based contemporary artist who constantly challenges the boundaries between reality and illusion, creating a provocative oeuvre where painting and conceptual art seamlessly blur into one another. While he first captured the global spotlight through his viral photography, it is his profound work on canvas and his radical artistic interventions that form the true backbone of his creative philosophy. Bieniek treats art not as a static object to be hung on a wall, but as a continuous, living performance that actively disrupts daily life and forces the viewer to question the authenticity of their own perception.In his paintings, Bieniek dives deep into the psychological realms of dualism, human fragmentation, and the split personality.
